Loewe creates a contemporary layered coat design this season that borrows accents from fashion's favorite transeasonal outer layer: the trench coat. It has a soft checked base layer that's sleeveless and can be worn separately as a chic vest, while the block black second layer is cropped to the waist and has lapels, epaulets, a storm flap and a cinching waist belt. A logo-embossed leather patch adds instant brand recognition, while playful fringed ends complete the piece on a wonderfully tactile note.
