Vans' 'OG Classic LX' checkerboard sneakers have become a pop culture icon - they were famously worn by Mr Sean Penn in '80s film Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and more recently by Frank Ocean, who styled his with a suit to meet President Barack Obama.
