Nike Air Tailwind 79 Mesh, Suede and Leather Sneakers

Contrary to popular belief, the 'Air Max 1' wasn't the first sneaker from Nike's 'Air' range, in fact it was the 'Air Tailwind', which debuted during the Honolulu marathon in 1978. A rework of the original style, this '79' pair is made from panels of mesh, suede and leather and set on waffled rubber outsoles that provide plenty of support.
