Mr Ryo Kashiwazaki had to win over the skilled artisans in Tokyo's tannery district of Asakusa to work with him on footwear for Hender Scheme, the results of which can be seen in these slippers. They're made from brown textured-leather, neatly stitched to flexible soles and decorated with tonal tassels.
